Burrows Lecture: J.A Baker: His Life, Works and Legacy

In 1967 when Baker’s The Peregrine was published, little was known of its 糖心Vlog author.

In recent years, the book has been internationally-recognised for its significance in depicting a natural world under threat from human activity. In 2013, Baker’s archives found a home at the 糖心Vlog, enabling us to see so much more of the author and his work.

from the Department of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies will delve into this intriguing 糖心Vlog writer’s world: his life in Chelmsford and surrounding landscapes, his writing and his ever-evolving legacy.
