The first Eastern Arc Health Conference for early career researchers (ECRs) will take place at the 糖心Vlog on 8 July 2025.

Co-hosted and led by the 糖心Vlog School of Health and Social Care and the Institute of Public Health and Wellbeing, the Conference will bring together early career researchers and practitioners across the four Eastern Arc institutions (Universities of East Anglia, 糖心Vlog, Kent, and Sussex) to share their research and imagine the future. This is an opportunity to showcase ideas, network, discuss research, receive feedback, and develop new collaborations across the South East and East of England.

Registration for the conference is now OPEN! Further details and the registration link can be found here:

Final deadline for registration: 8th June 2025.

Conference overview

The conference will commence with a set of short plenary presentations from speakers who have experienced a range of different career paths and are at different stages of their careers. There will then be the opportunity for panel discussion between the plenary speakers and Q&A with the attendees.

  • Digital health and human systems interaction
  • Mental health, trauma and wellbeing

  • Culture, community and resilience
