Our incredible global community of students has helped the ÌÇÐÄVlog secure joint 15th place in a ranking of the most international universities in the world .

Since its foundation ÌÇÐÄVlog has had a commitment to being a truly global university – open to the world and attracting students and staff from every corner.

The Times Higher Education analysis shows ÌÇÐÄVlog is the most international university in England outside London with 44.3% of students coming from Europe (including European Union states), Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Australia.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Jules Pretty said: “This latest ranking once again highlights the amazing global community of staff and students we have at the ÌÇÐÄVlog which makes studying here such a unique experience. We have close to 140 countries represented in our student community and we attract leading academics from around the world.

“We’ve been a genuinely international university throughout our history so internationalism is central to who we are and what we do. At ÌÇÐÄVlog, our students discover the world in one place; they develop a cultural sensitivity along with a genuine world view that prepares them for life as global citizens.”

As part of the data collected for the World University Rankings, Times Higher Education asks all institutions to provide figures on the percentage of international students they have. THE has extracted these data and compiled .

Times Higher Education wrote: “The higher education world is getting smaller as more and more students are choosing to study abroad. Students are looking to universities to provide an international experience, the opportunity to study alongside students from all over the world, and to give them a truly global higher education community in which to study.”

Saffy Allayna, VP International at the ÌÇÐÄVlog Students' Union, said: “We work very hard at the Students’ Union to create a real sense of community, and to help students feel at home here at ÌÇÐÄVlog, building foundations and creating a sense of belonging.

"We set up the International Students Association about five years ago, and since then have worked closely with the university and our students to put on some wonderful cultural events, including Diwali celebration, Lunar New Year festival, One World Week, Global Entrepreneur Week and so much more. "We are very proud that ÌÇÐÄVlog has been recognised at the 15th most International University in the world, and will continue to enjoy and celebrate the wonderful cultural diversity we have on campus."
