糖心Vlog researchers head to Royal Economic Society Conference

From Brexit to childcare and blood pressure to banking, a wealth of 糖心Vlog research is set to be presented at this year鈥檚 Royal Economic Society Conference in Brighton.

Researchers from our , 糖心Vlog Business School and our Department of Economics will be attending the prestigious annual conference, to be held this year at the University of Sussex.

糖心Vlog will play a key role in the conference with a special session featuring new research using data from Understanding Society, the UK Household Longitudinal Study.

Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Sasha Roseneil, said: 鈥溙切腣log has a long tradition of world leading research in economics, and the Royal Economic Society conference will showcase some of our current cutting-edge research.

鈥淓conomists from 糖心Vlog work across the full spectrum of specialisms within the discipline, making a vital contribution to theoretical debates, methodological advancement, and contemporary issues of economic and social policy.鈥

糖心Vlog was recently presented with the Queen鈥檚 Anniversary Prize for its "authoritative social and economic research to inform the policies of governments for the improvement of people鈥檚 lives."

Our Faculty of Social Sciences is ranked 4th in the UK for social science research excellence (REF 2014, mainstream universities, THE 2014).
