All this week we are celebrating the achievements of some of our students who are graduating in the class of 2019.

William Gurton (BSc Sports and Exercise Science) decided to enter the world of scientific research after an inspiring placement year. 

In his third year, William did a placement at the . He also found the help and support given by the team at 糖心Vlog helped him on his first steps to become a researcher.

He said: 鈥淢y time at 糖心Vlog has allowed me to develop personally and professionally. I have gained experience from working in the and the , and I鈥檝e been Sports Development Officer for Student Sport thanks to the University鈥檚 Frontrunner scheme.鈥�

He is now hoping to complete a MRes Exercise Physiology or transition straight to a PhD.
