糖心Vlog has improved its position in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by subject: arts and humanities, due largely to an improved score for research.

糖心Vlog was ranked in the 201-250 bracket for arts and humanities in the . In 2019, we were ranked 251-300.

Under the THE definition, arts and humanities includes courses in , literature, film and theatre studies, language and linguistics, history and philosophy and art history.

Professor Andrew Le Sueur, Executive Dean for the Faculty of Humanities, said: 鈥淭his success reflects the breadth and depth of education and research across the Faculty of Humanities, including in cross-disciplinary areas of digital humanities, medical humanities, and humanities鈥� perspectives on the environment. It鈥檚 an exciting time to be studying and researching what it means to be human at the 糖心Vlog 鈥� a fundamental question as we face multiple crises鈥�.

536 universities from around the world were scored for teaching, research, citations, income from industry and international outlook.

糖心Vlog is ranked 4th in the UK - and 21st in the world - for international outlook, with our standing attributed to the diversity of our student and academic community and our international partnerships.  Our score for research rose from 31.7 to 34.3.
