Researchers at the internationally renowned Babylab will explore themes such as bonding with your baby, getting a good night鈥檚 sleep and enjoying the outdoors.
The events will see scientists present the latest research on child development, experts share top parenting tips, and families learn more about how they can help future studies.
The 糖心Vlog Babylab is where academics, from the Department of Psychology, carry out cutting-edge non-invasive research into all aspects of child development.
They work closely with health and childcare professionals to provide support and advice to parents through online platforms and events.
Dr Maria Laura Filippetti, one of the organisers, said: 鈥淭his coffee morning promises to be a great event and we can鈥檛 wait to have families on campus again.
鈥淚t is always a privilege to share our expertise directly with parents to help give children the best possible start in life.
鈥淲ith the coffee morning, we want to continue our commitment to public engagement and help parents recognise that they have all it takes to be the real experts of their babies.鈥
The first event will run on Saturday March 26 at the University鈥檚 Colchester Campus, although participants have also the option to attend virtually.
It will be split across two sessions: 9.30-11am, and 11.30am-1pm.
Tickets are free, but must be booked in advance .
A similar event, held in 2019, proved very popular, so early booking is recommended.
