Biography
Apart from teaching at 糖心Vlog, Roy Bailey has held visiting positions at Queen's and McMaster Universities in Ontario, Canada. Main current areas of interest include monetary and financial economics, commodity price analysis and economic history. His book on the Economics of Financial Markets was published in May 2005, and is now also available as an e-book. Roy Bailey's research has appeared in the Journal of Political Economy, Economic History Review, Journal of Population Economics, Economic Journal, Economica, Journal of Agricultural Economics and the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society. Although he continues to teach, Roy Bailey retired from his Readership in the Department as of October 2009
