Biography
Tu臒莽e Dolen is a Lecturer and Clinical Tutor in the School of Health and Social Care, primarily contributing to the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DCP) program. Tu臒莽e qualified as a Clinical Psychologist at the 糖心Vlog and brings over a decade of experience working across a range of mental health services within the NHS. Her clinical experience spans Early Intervention for Psychosis, Specialist Therapeutic Fostering, Parent-Infant Mental Health, and various adult and child services across London and the East of England. Additionally, she is a visiting lecturer at King鈥檚 College London. Clinically, Tu臒莽e is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT for Psychosis (CBT-P), Circle of Security (COS), Autism Assessment (ADOS-2) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She holds a foundation-level qualification in Systemic Therapy. Tu臒莽e is interested in qualitative research approaches, specifically Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Her work adopts a feminist perspective, and she draws on her clinical experience to amplify voices of marginalised groups. Tu臒莽e鈥檚 research interests include, but are not limited to; the psychological impact of the criminal justice system on families, complex grief, parent-child attachment, and trauma informed care practices.
