Biography
I graduated from the 糖心Vlog, in 2022, with a BSc Honours in Genetics with the project on: Photosynthetic promoter analysis using bioinformatics approaches and model plant expression. Then graduated 糖心Vlog again, in 2022, with a distinction MSc in Health Genomics with a project on: Cancer marker gene ANXA7s orthologues indicate no link between sequence conservation and cancer mutation location. Now i am currently studying a full time PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology looking into the impact of genetic variants affecting microRNA-mediated gene regulation cancer.

The impact of genetic variants affecting microRNA-mediated gene regulation cancer. impact of genetic variants affecting microRNA-mediated gene regulation cancer.
Prostate cancer disproportionately affects men of African descent. The androgen receptor is the main driver of prostate cancer growth. MicroRNAs are regulatory molecules that bind to target mRNA and reduce protein expression. Previously, our research group used genetic varia/people/BROOK66801/Greg-Brookent information from gnomAD 3 to identify SNPs that exist in microRNA target sites where target allele frequencies are significantly different between distinct human populat
