Summer Taster Series

Is equality being cancelled? Inside the fight for fair work places

Tuesday 24 June

Time: 4:30 – 5:10 PM

Speaker:
Dr Elaine Yerby, Senior Lecturer in Organisation Studies and Human Resource Management

What's it about?:

What does a fair workplace look like, and who decides? This webinar dives into the growing debate around Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in the UK. With Reform UK party calling for the removal of EDI roles in the public sector, and Apple voting to protect its EDI workforce, the clash between politics and business is heating up. We’ll break down what these changes mean for future jobs, who gets hired, and how inclusive our workplaces will be.

If you care about fairness, opportunity, and want to study this further, this conversation is for you.

Please do get in touch with us if you have any questions about the series in the meantime, we'd love to hear from you.
