Accessibility and wellbeing support
Getting support if you have a disability including Specific Learning Difference, autism, physical or sensory disabilities, long-term health conditions or mental health condition.
The Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service (SWIS) have a team of experienced specialists to support you in reaching your academic potential.
If you have any of the conditions below, you can register with our service by emailing include@essex.ac.uk. To register you'll need to provide supporting evidence. You'll also need to give your consent to us sharing some information with the relevant departments. You can do this by completing our confidentiality agreement (.pdf) and sending it to us. If you are a new student with complex needs, it is never too early to contact us for advice and information so that we can prepare for your arrival.
