There are launderettes located near to your accommodation.
The and launderettes are both wheelchair accessible with automated doors.
The machines within the launderette at The Pastures is operated by Circuit. The machines within are managed via the Circuit Laundry Plus app. However, the machines can also take cards which can be topped up online via Circuit's website. The cards can be purchased from reception at The Pastures (there may be a local charge for this and The Pastures only supply to students in that area).
This makes doing your laundry less of a hassle. The laundry app lets you top-up your Circuit app account in seconds and then you are good to go. Just turn up at either the South Courts or Hex laundry, load your laundry, select your machine number on the App and select the programme you want to start - job done! Once the washer or dryer gets going, the app will give you a countdown that tells you how long until your laundry is done.
Check out the online, which shows you how it all works.
The machines within The Hexagon, South Courts, University Square, The Copse, University Quays, and The Meadows have all been upgraded to Circuit Go! This means a new way of accessing the machines and doing your laundry.
Circuit Go is a new payment system and app, plus there is a payment terminal now in each of the launderettes, meaning you don't need a laundry card or app to pay if you don't want to. You'll be able to pay via the app, debit/credit card, Apple/Google Pay, and via smartwatches.
The new app (download Circuit Go from your app store) has new features, including the option to reserve a machine for 10 minutes, so you know it will be available when you get there! There is also viewing availability, getting notifications, and easier way of getting refunds.
You can contact the team via the app, via email at circuitgo@circuitgroup.com or by calling 0808 28 2288.
