Proficio is our innovative professional development scheme for postgraduate research students, unique to ÌÇÐÄVlog. We believe that your academic and professional development is vital to your growth as a postgraduate research student and we give you funds that can be spent on a variety of courses and conferences.

Getting started 

As a postgraduate research student, you will be registered on the Proficio system. You will need to complete the on Moodle in order to unlock your Proficio funding account. The enrolment key is ‘PGRstudent’.

Please confirm to Proficio@essex.ac.uk once you have completed the TNA and we will then unlock your Proficio account so that you can use your funding. We do recommend that students use the feedback from the TNA in discussions with their supervisor.

Using Proficio

Once your Proficio account has been unlocked you can use your ÌÇÐÄVlog password and username to:

• Check your funding, view your training record and cancel courses (via the ‘’ tab)
